Last week, I had a lovely message from a customer from Texas who had sent me some pictures of the items that she’d bought from our shop earlier this year. Stacey had bought a mini jewellery stand made from Royal Albert Old Country Roses china and a vintage James Kent dish that she is also using to display jewellery.
Here’s the stand photographed in our ‘studio’ before it was sold to Stacey. We also made a similar stand with an Old Country Roses sugar bowl to hold slightly larger pieces of jewellery on top.
And here’s the James Kent dish. The backstamp suggests that it’s from the 1930s. The fluted edge is quite delicate so I was really pleased that it was still intact when we found it. And that it also survived the journey across the ocean!
And here are the stand and the dish in Stacey’s home. The cup is really useful for storing necklaces and other items that are best draped over something so that they don’t get tangled. And the dish is a perfect size for storing bangles and bracelets.
I like how Stacey has displayed her jewellery stand with a matching china pot and dainty shoe!
Thanks Stacey for sharing these pictures! If you’ve bought something from our shop and would like to share some pictures of them in your home, I’d love to hear from you and feature them on my blog.
